Apr.1920    The school is opened, using a temporary campus in Sanno-machi, Toyama city

Mar.1921    Relocation of campus to Furutettai-machi

Apr.1948    Renamed Toyama Prefectural Jinzu Senior High School
upon revision of school rule

Jun.1970    50th anniversary Celebration

Sep.1977    The new school campus is completed, with the new facility ‘Shisei-kaikan’

Jun.1980    60th anniversary Celebration

May.1986    The secondary gymnasium is built

Jun.1990    70th anniversary Celebration

Apr.1991    The all‐weather tennis court is built

Dec.1996    The primary gymnasium is rebuilt

May.1999    A partner-school relationship is founded with North East Yucai School

Oct.2002    Koichi Tanaka, who graduated in 1981, receives the Nobel Prize in Chemistry

Apr.2003    Recognition as a “Frontier High School ” promoting academic abilities,
from Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology

Nov.2010    90th anniversary Celebration

Apr.2011    The Course for Science and Mathematics Program is replaced
by the Course for Inquiry Program

Apr.2014    The new school campus is completed, with the new facility ‘Shisei-Hall’
